Lisa WilliamsSo my ex and I broke up only about 3 weeks ago. He has a ton of family issues going on thag are stressing him out and we broke up over a really dumb reason (I said he was selfish because we were arguing and I needed him but he refused to call me) and he ended up freaking out and dumping me and blocked me on everything except iMessage. About a week went by and we called because we had to discuss things because at the time we thought I was pregnant and during that call he said he was over me and he didn’t trust me and he basically said he hated me and wanted nothing to do with me. Three days go by and he texts me at 6 am saying he can’t take all the stress that’s going on in his life and he wants to give up and comes to me for support after saying he doesn’t trust me. Then he tells me he wouldn’t have been win me for half a year if he didn’t love me. Another week goes by and I finally figure out what my issue is (I wasn’t pregnant so I had to get tests done to see what was up with me) and we call again. He says he’s over me then continues on to say the only reason he won’t give me a second chance is because he’s afraid of me hurting him and he said he doesn’t want a relationship with anyone right now and doesn’t want to commit to anything right now so then I made a joke about friends with benefits and he asked if we could actually try that and we made a rule everything would be the same I just can’t call him pet names and tell him I love him. But now that we started that it’s like one day he’s being clingy and wants to talk to me but then the next few days he wants nothing to do with me and leaves me on read and doesn’t pick up my calls but then comes back asking to call and asking to hang out and is back to being all clingy. I’m just confused at this point and I don’t really know what to do…I just want to know at this point if there’s a chance of us getting back together because that’s all I really want right now.
