I am a 32 year old female who recently matched with a 39 year old guy on a dating site about 5 days ago.
Our conversations have been smooth. There has been nothing weird or sexual in his daily texts to me.
We are both looking for a long-term relationship and I intend to ask him out soon.
Since yesterday, he calls me “beautiful” or “honey” when he says good morning or good night. Is this alarming?
This is new to me when still in the texting phase with a guy that I am yet to meet.

As long as he isn’t following it up with sexual innuendos or proposals for marriage, there is no need to be alarmed at this time. He is just comfortable with you. Some guys get comfortable quicker than others when they are chatting with a woman that they have just met on a dating site. If you are uncomfortable with it though, just let him know. If he truly respects you, he will stop saying it.
