When a guy stops texting you like he used to, you should consider this as a lack of interest.
This guy that you starting communicating with off of an internet dating site may have been initially excited about texting you.
You may have noticed that his energy level at the beginning was high.
At this point, he was still feeling a sense of enthusiasm and was hopeful about where the correspondence could lead.

In other words, he didn’t just stop texting you out of nowhere after having been consistent with texting you for a sustained period of time.
When you notice a gradual drop off in his frequency of texting over time, it typically indicates that with each passing day his level of enthusiasm for you is waning.
He just lost the thrill of talking to you.
The initial root of the problem may be that the both of you moved to texting over the phone too soon for him.
Perhaps he needed some more time to get to know you on the internet dating site before moving to texting over the phone.

The more he does this, the less important it is for him to continue texting you over the phone.
With the new girls that he meets on the internet dating site, he feels like he is pursuing again.
He may be the kind of guy that would prefer a good degree of build-up before ultimately exchanging numbers with a girl on an internet dating site.
This is why it is possible that he lost interest in you because the both of you exchanged numbers with each other too soon.
Even though you have yet to meet him, he may not be the kind of guy that gets to the point where he wants to meet a girl unless there has been a good degree of momentum built up.
