It isn’t all that realistic to expect commitment from a guy this early. You have seen him on a different dating app in tandem with the one you met him on. This means that he is keeping his dating options open.
Although the last relationship you had was with a guy you met on a dating app and he asked you to be his girlfriend after a month of courtship, you shouldn’t assume that any guy you like on a dating app is following the same schedule.
The guy that you are talking to currently clearly thinks that there is romantic potential with you. That is why he has been out on a number of dates with you. That said, he doesn’t want to put all of his eggs in one basket.
He assumes that you are also talking to other guys and going out on dates with said guys. He doesn’t know whether you are going to end up deciding that he is the right guy for you. This is partly his motivation behind talking to other girls.
The truth is, it is too early for you to know whether this guy is the right candidate to be your next boyfriend. The speed in which you found a boyfriend last time on a mobile dating app was great, but that doesn’t make it the rule.
Instead of wondering about how deep into talking to a guy you should allow something like this to bother you, focus on letting the courtship play out naturally.
When you start thinking too deep about something like this, it forces you to act in a way you shouldn’t, where you are trying to navigate the courtship in the direction you want it to go too prematurely.
Doing that jeopardizes everything.
Don’t let yourself be bothered by all this. Let the courtship move to its final conclusion naturally. Whether that means he ends up with you or someone else, it all comes down to who is the most compatible with him.
