Her intentions behind posting a photo of her child is to show the men on the online dating app that she is a mom first and foremost.
She wants to let them all know who her priority is, regardless of how well she hits it off with a match.
She believes that she has to do this to lay the initial ground rules for any introduction she has with a guy on a dating app.
She isn’t all that concerned that a bunch of strangers on a dating app see a photo of her child. So far, she hasn’t had any security issues in regards to the men who see her child’s photo on her profile. As a result, she isn’t worried for her child’s safety.
There are quite a number of women who post photos of their children on dating apps and feel safe doing so.
Statistically, the men that prey on the young find other online spaces to do it.
