However, they really do want that serious long-term relationship. It is just that they couldn’t hold out any longer as far as their physical needs were concerned.

Even though they have now hooked up with this person and may even hook up with this person again, they are still going to remain active on online dating sites in the hopes that they will eventually meet a serious long-term partner.
