A guy may take his pictures down on an online dating site because they may remind him of someone that he doesn’t want to remember.

After all the work that he did to recover from that bitter breakup, he may not want to have any kind of reminder of her. Hence, he takes his pictures down because he just doesn’t want to relive what it was like when she was in his life.

Another reason why a guy may take his pictures down on an online dating site may be because he doesn’t want to get many visitors to his online dating profile at this time.

He may have gotten to the point where he wants to take a little break away from the online dating site or he may simply want to be able to browse through online dating profiles without giving away what he actually looks like.

In essence, he is slowing things down.

He may do this because he has had some really intense interactions with people that he has met on the online dating site and he may want to reevaluate how he goes about communicating with people on the online dating site.

Hence, he may surmise it best to go at a slower pace right now and take away a strong degree of attention from his online dating profile.

Indeed, he may eventually put the pictures back up on the online dating site. However, for now, he may just want to take things slow and move at a very deliberate pace.
