Is This Guy That I Met Through An Online Dating Website Trying To Rush Into A Relationship With Me?

When you notice that he has a tendency to find ways to tie in the notion of being in a relationship with you in conversation, there is a good chance that he is trying to rush into a relationship with you.

He will find opportunities in the conversations that you both have to do this, often in a jokey manner.

He is uncertain about whether you want to get into a relationship and is worried about scaring you away.

Hence, he typically drops these hints in this jokey manner so as not to appear to be too pushy for this relationship to happen.

For example, you may be having a conversation with him and complaining about something that your boss did at work and he says something like, “Well, you know, we can always run away together and escape our crazy bosses.”

If you notice that he keeps finding opportunities in your conversations with him to make these kind of jokes that make reference to a relationship in some way, there is a good chance that he is hinting that he wants to get into a relationship with you.

This guy that you met through an online dating website may be trying to rush into a relationship with you when he keeps hinting that he would like to meet someone in your life that you care about.

This may be your parents, friends, colleagues, etc.

Again, in a scenario like this, he may say this in a lighthearted way during conversation with you.

You may be having a discussion with him where you mention a particular family member of yours and he may say something like, “Peter sounds like a great guy. I think we would both really get along?”

Again, he is trying to hint that he would like to meet Peter but he is doing so in a way that is lighthearted and unforced.

This way, he gives the impression that he isn’t trying to pressure you.

He doesn’t want to run the risk of making you think that he is trying to rush into a relationship with you when you aren’t ready.

Though he may be totally ready for a relationship at this time.

He is still worried that you may not be.

Hence, he will use these kind of hints that speak to wanting to meet a family member, friend or colleague, so that he gauges where you are at in terms of wanting to be in a relationship with him.

He is hoping that at some point after he makes lighthearted comments like this, you will tell him that you would love for him to meet whoever it is that you were talking about and that you can introduce him to this person over the weekend or on some specific day.

This would encourage him into believing that you are getting closer and closer to deciding to get into a relationship with him.

The guy that you met through an online dating website may be trying to rush into a relationship with you when he is constantly letting you know in conversation that he has deleted his online dating account.

He may try not to be pushy about this when he says it.

He may try to do it in a sly way.

Perhaps he may say something like, “I’m so glad I deleted my account, there are some real crazies on there.”

Again, he is making a general reference to his experience on the online dating website.

However, he is hoping to achieve two objectives with this comment.

He is letting you know that he deleted his account and he is hoping to make you worry about the prospect of dealing with crazies on the online dating website.

In telling you that he deleted his account, he is hinting that you should delete yours as well.

In mentioning the crazies on the online dating website, he is hoping that you decide to delete your account out of worry that you may get messaged by crazies.

This is all designed to manipulate you into putting all of your focus on him.

When he keeps making these kind of comments, he may be hoping to convince you that you should get into a relationship with him.
